do.

wedding season.
it's that time of year! we started off wedding season with a fantastic weekend in lake geneva, wisconsin. my dearest friend from childhood married a dashing frenchman! actually, the groom is a little less "dashing," more genuine, kind and humble. but, the fact that he's french definitely earns bonus dash points.
the bride chose fun colors, patterns, and a vintage vibe for the wedding. it was so fun to see it all come together.
the ceremony was so beautiful, with lots of intimate moments (and tears). each of their fathers shared a personal blessing that was very moving. as the bride and groom committed their lives to each other, you truly felt the weight of every word they spoke and each vow that was made.
the reception was in a beautiful old building overlooking the lake. there was a classic popcorn machine & candy bar to snack on before (and after) dinner, a great musical duo that played romantic songs throughout the evening, and tons of people i hadn't seen in years. it was a really fun weekend and i was so honored to be a part of it!

congratulations, mr. & mrs. t!

oh, and in case you're wondering:
cardigan: target
top: anthropologie
pencil skirt: express
pumps: seychelles
