i have to admit, the first thing i thought when i saw the picture above was,
holy wrinkles!!!
i've never really been worried about wrinkles before, but in a couple weeks i'll officially be closer to 30 than 20 and i know i need to take better care of my skin. my aesthitician has amazing skin (of course) and i often find myself just staring at her face, not paying any attention to what she's saying. but the other day, as i was trying to decide if i could do my eye-shadow like hers, she totally fessed up to being a regular botoxer! i don't judge--i was just surprised! i guess i assumed all aesthiticians just had perfect skin from wearing spf 50 even when it's cloudy and never popping their zits.*
but, apparently there's a little more to it.
this has nothing to do with my outfit, however.

leather jacket: dillards
denim shirt: banana republic
ruffled henley: target
white tank: target
belt: j.crew
jeans: gap
flats: payless
earrings: target

*doesn't that seem like a sad existence?

  1. great outfit! I have the same thoughts about my skin at 26! At this point in my life, I'm still planning on aging gracefully. I like the idea that I've earned my wrinkles! :)

  2. You look always! And I think this is such a funny post. I had a crazy experience for the first time two weeks ago. I went out for a girls' day with some friends. We've gotten together regularly for several years - and two weeks ago the major topic of our conversation was botox and wrinkle cream! Seriously??? How can I be old enough for that? (and I'm way older than you and am jealous of YOUR skin!) :)

  3. Great last couple outfits! I love them! (and have the same shoes, but in purple, from payless!) i'm loving your skinny belts and wanted to tell you that I used an idea from your scarf tutorial video a while back, yesterday! thanks for that!

  4. Love this outfit!! I turned 26 a couple of weeks ago. 25 was a fun year, but all of a sudden my body started doing ca-raaaazy things. Needless to say, I'm still trying to get back into a regular workout routine. Getting older is lame :/
