wear.

two for two.

why am i sideways? i have no idea. ask blogger.
so far the 30 for 30 challenge has been good to me. i don't know why i was so freaked out about it. the limited clothing options actually makes getting dressed a bit easier. (though, today i still didn't get dressed until 1:30...) the only downside so far is that every time i see my mom she asks,
"is that from your thirty?" so far i've been able to honestly say yes, mom!
and then roll my eyes.
it's been a while since i've been able to give my mom a good eye-roll and, now that they're empty-nesters, i'm guessing she misses it.

  9. Today is Remembrance Day in Canada, and I thought of you and your husband as I was getting ready for the day. Today I'll wear a poppy to remember he and all the other brave men and women who fight for the freedoms we take for granted. And I think of the families like yours who sacrifice, too.

    Have a good day :)

  12. Love the headband! I have that Tarjay sweater too. I would have never thought to pair stripes with the stripes but it looks cute. So if I do that the shirt underneath needs to have really small print stripes to make it work?

  13. you got it, abby! my biggest advice when pairing patterns is to consider SCALE. if you have a wide or large pattern, pair a small pattern with it. whether it be florals or plaids or stripes or spots--pair BIG with little and they won't compete. go for it!!!
